Whether someone is stopping in for a quick drink after a day exploring Lake Superior or settling in for dinner with friends and family, you’ll help make their visit one to remember.Our restaurant offers American cuisine with a modern twist, along with an extensive beverage selection and incredible views of Lake Superior. Every shift brings new guests, new conversations, and plenty of opportunities to show off your hospitality skills.What You’ll DoWelcome guests with a friendly, genuine attitude and create a welcoming bar environmentPrepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages according to recipes and guest preferencesProvide knowledgeable recommendations and answer questions about our beverage and food menusTake food orders and provide attentive service to guests seated at the barAccurately enter food and beverage orders and communicate clearly with the kitchenMaintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout each shiftMonitor guest needs and provide attentive service without being intrusiveCheck identification and follow all applicable alcohol service laws and responsible service practicesAccurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest checksMaintain proper inventory and communicate restocking needs to managementComplete opening, closing, and side work responsibilitiesFollow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policiesWork closely with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to provide excellent serviceHelp create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming backWhat We’re Looking ForA friendly, outgoing personality and genuine passion for hospitalityPrevious bartending experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right personKnowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and basic beverage preparationStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a busy restaurant environmentDependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitudeStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to stand, walk, lift, bend, and work on your feet for extended periodsMust meet applicable age requirements for bartending and alcohol serviceWhy Superior Shores?You’ll be working at one of the North Shore’s most beautiful resort destinations, surrounded by Lake Superior and a team that believes hospitality should feel genuine, welcoming, and fun.Our guests come to Superior Shores to relax, explore, celebrate, and make memories—and as a Bartender, you’ll be right in the middle of that experience.If you enjoy good drinks, great people, and working somewhere with a view you’ll never get tired of, we’d love to have you join us.Come work where every shift feels a little more “Up North.”
