Abington Manor at Morgan Hill is recruiting for experienced Care Givers and Certified Nursing Assistants for all shifts.Job Summary:The Resident Wellness Assistant provides compassionate, hands-on support to residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and hygiene. This role emphasizes dignity, respect, and empathy, using techniques from Memory Care training to reduce stress and encourage cooperation. The Resident Wellness Assistant works closely with residents, families, and team members to promote comfort, safety, and overall well-being.Key Responsibilities:Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude, demonstrates impeccable ethics and integrity.Ambulates or assists in ambulation of the residents to and from activities, dining room or other locations as needed.Assists with or perform personal hygiene tasks - brush teeth, comb hair, shave, etc.Lift residents as neededCommunicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality.Collaborate with the Wellness Director, care team, and healthcare providers to support individualized resident care plans.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe medication area and promote a supportive wellness environment.Provide attentive, compassionate service that respects residents’ mobility, cognitive, and sensory needs.Build meaningful relationships with residents and team members while upholding ethics and integrity.
