Dental Front Desk Admin

About the Role We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused professional who is looking to build a long-term career while helping us create a healthier community. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key part in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments and manage schedule updates. Coordinate appointment reminders and follow-up visits. Maintain accurate patient records, digital forms, treatment notes, and insurance information while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams. Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations when required, and communicate coverage details to patients. Collect payments, reconcile daily transactions, and assist with account collections. Utilize dental practice management software (Open Dental experience preferred). Assist with tracking and ordering office and dental supplies. Follow HIPAA guidelines, office policies, and quality standards. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in a dental front office, receptionist, or administrative role. Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Ability to verify insurance benefits and manage patient accounts. Friendly, professional, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience with Open Dental software. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes. Understanding of dental office workflows, infection control protocols, and PPE requirements. Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills.
