Position Title: Maintenance Pay Rate:$39.37/hr. up to $41.32/hr. Category/Shift:Hourly Full-Time (7AM- 7PM and 7PM-7AM)12 hour rotating shifts, weekends and overtime as required. Physical Location:Bay Minette Container100 Dickman RoadBay Minette, AL 36507251-937-5546 The Job You Will Perform:Following all safety rules, policies and practicesPerforming preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components and observing operations to determine proper functionsPerforming emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operationsAbility to use multi-meter(s) to test electrical circuits, components, etc. using DC or AC voltageAbility to read and understand electrical block diagrams and wiring schematicsAbility to exchange motors, gearboxes, sheaves, sprockets, belts, chains, etc. with proper alignment upon assemblyFully understand functions of limit and proximity switches and their effects to PLC’sAbility to troubleshoot AC and DC drive systems to determine cause of faults or failuresAbility to troubleshoot hydraulic systems controlled by switches or PLC’sAbility to troubleshoot pneumatic systems from solenoids, switches, valves, etc.Knowledge with conveyor system and their operationsFamiliar with a diverse range of hand tools and their operations such as grinders, drills, Metabo, reciprocating saws, etc.Self-motivated, able to follow through to completion with assigned responsibilitiesMaintain a clean and organized work area in respect to the “5-S Program”Ability to openly communicateAbility to effectively work with internal customers in the facility to maintain a strong working relationship between production employees and maintenance employees The Skills You Will Bring:Technical experience and reliability The Benefits You Will Enjoy:International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short-term Disability, 401(k) and/or Pension (where applicable), Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets.
