Maintenance Mechanic

Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.Perform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levelComplete emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operationsPerform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installationsAccurately use measurement and test equipmentMaintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasksAccurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperworkWork independently as well as part of a teamFollow all safety rules and practicesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisionThe Skills You Will Bring:Strong mechanical skills and aptitudeStrong troubleshooting skillsSkilled in pneumatics, electrical, PLC, and hydraulicsAbility to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devicesWell-rounded electrical, mechanical and machine shop skills and experienceWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to work overtime as neededHigh school diploma or equivalentFive years of maintenance experience with at least one year with the same employerHighly-qualified candidates would possess a technical degree or apprenticeship certification and maintenance experience in the corrugated industry or similar manufacturing environmentCandidates selected for further consideration will be required to complete a tests on job-related skills, a panel interview, background check, drug screen, and pre-employment health assessment.
