Part Time - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary:Excellent provider judgment Compassion towards people in recovery and in mental health treatment Willingness to work with patients of all backgrounds and populations Patience with client population Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to work as part of a healthcare team Job Duties: Consulting with the medical director, Director of Nursing, nursing staff, and clinical team on patient care and services Developing, evaluating, and reviewing patient treatment plans and assessments as needed History & Physical exams, and Initial Psychiatric Evaluations for new admissions and medical/psychiatric patient follow-ups on a regular basis Prescribing medication to patients as needed Attends staff training and meetings as required by the employer Communicating with pharmacy as needed Signing off on GeneSight testing and ordering/reviewing lab results as needed Completing notes and signing off on orders within 24hrs of the patient being seenOther duties as assigned
