Retail Customer Service Cashier

Cashiers play a very important role in the organization. Cashiers are often the first and almost always the last staff members our customers interact with. A cashier’s ability to cheerfully, accurately, and quickly complete point of sale transactions differentiates M&D Supply from its competition and leaves a lasting impression. Cashiers are an important source of feedback to management about the customer experience. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/TasksGreet/direct every customer entering the store.Answer all calls using the company phone script when necessary. Ring all customers in accordance with company policies and procedures. Perform transactions cheerfully, quickly and accurately.Maintain the minimum RLC goal set by the company. Maintain minimum Round Up goal set by the company.Follow the customer service guidelines to provide maximum customer service levels (consistent score of 95% or better on in-store and phone mystery shops).Supervise others and provide on-the-job training.Sign customers up for Ace Rewards.Restock register area weekly.Attend store cashier meeting.“On site” attendance must fall within the company standards as outlined in the handbook.Any other tasks required as determined by management
