Senior Claims Consultant

About the opportunityChubb Life is aiming to be New Zealand's number one life insurer, and how we handle claims is a big part of getting there. As Senior Claims Consultant, you'll own a portfolio of Disability Income and TPD claims, from the decision through to getting people back to work. This isn't pushing paper. You'll use Active Case Management to plan rehab with doctors and providers, make decisions within your delegated authority, and back every one with clear reasoning. You'll have the authority to make decisions, not just recommend them. You'll work the complex cases alongside specialists, advisers and providers, and guide our Case Managers through the hard conversations. It's a role where your experience actually gets used.
