Student - Security Worker

The Student Security Worker supports the Campus Security Department in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This role works under the supervision of the Director of Security and assists with routine monitoring, patrols, and customer service functions across campus.Work Performed:Conduct foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areasSupport access control procedures (unlocking/locking buildings, monitoring entrances)Provide general assistance and information to students, staff, and visitorsReport suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to the Director of Security or appropriate personnelAssist with special events or campus activities, including crowd management and safety supportComplete basic logs, reports, or incident documentation as requiredFollow all university safety policies and proceduresAssist in monitoring campus buildings and grounds to promote safety and security
