CSPNJ a mental health nonprofit agency is looking for seasonal Warming Center Team Lead(s). The Warming Center provides emergency overnight shelter for the unhoused from November through March. The team Lead and Mentors ensures the physical safety and emotional well-being of guests staying at the emergency cold weather shelter. Staff members work as a team to handle nightly intake, distribute supplies, maintain facility cleanliness, and connect guests with critical community resources. The Warming Center provides a warm safe place for unsheltered individuals to spend the night during the winter months.HIGHLIGHTSGreet guests warmly and create a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable environment.Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and effective communication.Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive environment through education, guidance, and positive interactions with guests.Maintain the cleanliness of the center and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to the Center Manager.Support guest safety by responding appropriately to behavioral health crises and utilizing effective crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when needed.Adhere to assigned staffing schedules to ensure adequate and safe staffing coverage and support the successful delivery of program services and objectives.Hourly Rate: $22.00 | Holiday Shift Differential Pay Available 2 part-time shifts available | Up to 29 hours per week | No benefits1. 5:00pm – 12:00am2. 12:00am – 7:00am
